How to choose the frequency converter of woodworking cutting machine

The frequency converter is used as the main shaft motor drive of the woodworking engraving machine, and the main requirements are stable operation and smooth speed change. When choosing a frequency converter, you should pay attention to the following points to prevent damage to the woodworking engraving machine. 

Analyzed from the following aspects:

1) The purpose of frequency conversion; constant voltage control or constant current control, etc.

2) The load type of the frequency converter of woodworking engraving machine; such as vane pump or positive displacement pump, etc., pay special attention to the performance curve of the load, which determines the method of application.

3) The matching problem between the frequency converter and the load of the woodworking engraving machine;

4) When using the engraving machine inverter to drive the high-speed motor, due to the small reactance of the high-speed motor, the increase of high-order harmonics leads to an increase in the output current value. Therefore, the inverter capacity of the engraving machine used for high-speed motors is slightly larger than that of ordinary motors.

5) If the inverter of the engraving machine needs to run with a long cable, measures should be taken to suppress the influence of the long cable on the coupling capacitance to the ground, so as to avoid insufficient output of the inverter of the engraving machine. Install an output reactor at the output end of the device.

6) For some special applications, such as high temperature and high altitude, it will cause the derating of the engraving machine inverter, and the engraving machine inverter capacity should be enlarged by one stop.
