What are the precautions for the engraving machine inverter(2)

8. Change the three-phase input to two-phase input

The three-phase inverter in the DZB series cannot be changed to two-phase. Failure to do so will result in malfunction or damage to the inverter.

9. Lightning impulse protection

The inverter of the engraving machine is equipped with a lightning strike overcurrent protection device, which has a certain self-protection ability for induced lightning. For places where lightning occurs frequently, customers should also install protection on the front end of the inverter.

10. Altitude and derating use

In areas with an altitude of more than 1000 meters, the cooling effect of the inverter is deteriorated due to the thin air, so it is necessary to derate the use. In this case, please consult the manufacturer for technical advice.

11. Some special usage

If the customer needs to use methods other than the recommended wiring diagram provided in this manual, such as common DC bus, please consult the manufacturer.

12. Pay attention when the inverter is scrapped

The electrolytic capacitor of the main circuit and the electrolytic capacitor of the printed board may explode when burned. Toxic gases are produced when plastic parts are burned. Please dispose of as industrial waste.

13. About the adaptation motor

(1) The standard suitable motor is a four-stage squirrel-cage asynchronous induction motor. If it is not the above motor, please select the inverter according to the rated current of the motor. If you need to drive the hydraulic synchronous motor, please consult our company.

(2) The cooling fan of the non-variable frequency motor is coaxially connected to the rotor shaft. When the speed decreases, the cooling effect of the fan decreases, and the cooling effect of the fan decreases. Therefore, if the motor is overheated, a strong exhaust fan should be installed or the frequency conversion motor should be replaced.

(3) The inverter has built-in standard parameters of the adapted motor. According to the actual situation, it is necessary to identify the motor parameters or modify the default values to match the actual values as much as possible, otherwise the running effect and protection performance will be affected.

(4) Due to the short circuit in the cable or the motor, the inverter will alarm, or even blow up the machine. Therefore, please conduct an insulation short-circuit test on the initially installed motor and cable first, and this test should also be performed frequently during routine maintenance.

Note that the inverter must be completely disconnected from the part under test when doing this test.
