The CNC cutting machine is divided into manual tool setting and automatic tool setting.

The automatic tool setting machine is generally equipped with a tool magazine, and the row tool changer or the disc tool changer.

The active tool setting instrument is controlled by software, which actively adjusts the initial orientation of the tool and the orientation of the engraved workpiece. Manual tool setting requires the operator to manually adjust the orientation of the workpiece with the tool setting block.

The function of the tool setter on the CNC cutting machine is to actively adjust the initial orientation of the tool and the orientation of the carved objects, but this work is generally performed by skilled workers for manual tool setting, so the tool setter does not have high precision. Very in-depth research, this technology can only perform simple tool setting, and cannot perform high-precision tool setting.

Generally, it is a single-head fixed-spindle CNC cutting machine. If it is necessary to complete engraving, cutting, side punching, etc. at the same time during processing, then a multi-process CNC cutting machine is required, which is more cost-effective than an active tool-changing carving machine. If you want to increase the efficiency of mass production, a multi-head CNC cutting machine is generally used. The CNC cutting machine should pay attention to the selection of the force of the lower knife and the power of the spindle when processing different plates.

For solid wood carving, attention should be paid to the thickness, hardness and other characteristics of the solid wood. For hard wood, use a spindle with a higher power, generally above 3kw, and a softer spindle with a lower power; when carving ordinary wood, the lower knife should be deep, because The female groove is deep; when processing plywood, the lower knife must be slow, and the lower knife should not be deep, because the plywood itself is relatively thin.
