The Superstar CX-1200Y (manufactured by Jinan Jinshengxing Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd.) is specifically engineered for artisans and woodworking shops focused on cylindrical, three-dimensional carving. While standard flatbed CNC routers struggle with rotary attachments, the CX-1200Y is purpose-built as a dedicated single-cylinder lathe/router.
Despite its compact, space-saving footprint, the machine features a highly durable, seamlessly welded steel structure weighing 400 KGS. This strong bearing capacity absorbs rotational vibrations, ensuring perfectly smooth finishes on complex 3D wood relief carvings. The simple operation and automatic processing make it highly accessible for both high-volume furniture factories and boutique craft workshops.
Dedicated Rotary Axis: Specifically designed for processing cylindrical workpieces (1200mm in length and 200mm in diameter), allowing for true 360° carving without the need for manual material flipping.
Space-Saving Steel Bed: The compact, heavy-duty steel structure provides the rigidity of a large-format industrial router while taking up minimal floor space in your workshop.
Intuitive DSP Control: Operates via a handheld DSP A18/A11 controller. This offline system does not require a dedicated computer connection, making it extremely easy to learn, operate, and pause/resume carving jobs instantly.
Variable Speed Regulation: Equipped with a frequency control system. This allows operators to fine-tune the rotation speed of the wood to eliminate vibration, ensuring a flawless finish across different wood densities.

3KW Water-Cooled Spindle:
Provides significant cutting force and high torque at lower RPMs, essential for deep 3D relief carving in hard woods. The water-cooling system ensures the spindle can run continuously for hours during long, intricate 3D sculpting jobs without overheating.
Precision Linear Guides:
The X-axis runs on high-precision 20mm square linear guide rails (or round rails). This delivers exceptional wear resistance and ultra-smooth lateral movement across the entire 1200mm length of the wood cylinder.
Precision Stepper Motors:
The 450B stepper motors ensure that the exact rotational degrees and lateral movements align perfectly via interpolation calculation, maintaining strict dimensional accuracy for symmetrical designs like dragon pillars or stair balusters.
Relief Furniture Industry: Manufacturing decorative furniture legs, bedposts, and intricate cylindrical accents.
Architectural Woodworking: Precision carving of stair handrails, balusters, and large decorative wooden pillars.
Arts & Crafts: 360° sculpting of human figures, Buddha statues, wooden handicrafts, and custom cylindrical art pieces.
Compatible Materials: Solid Wood, MDF, Bamboo, Acrylic, and high-density foam.
Cost-Effective 3D Machining: The CX-1200Y provides genuine 4th-axis rotary carving capabilities at a fraction of the cost of large, multi-head 5-axis machines.
Customizable Configurations: As the direct manufacturer, the engraving processing of the 200mm diameter cylinder can be customized according to your specific actual processing requirements.
Global Support: We utilize high reliability CNC templates to ensure system stability, and provide comprehensive English operating manuals, video tutorials, and dedicated factory-direct installation and deployment support.
Q: Do I need a computer attached to the machine to run it?
A: No. The machine uses the DSP offline control system. You simply design your 3D file on your office computer, save the G-code to a USB flash drive, and plug the USB directly into the handheld DSP controller to run the machine.
Q: Can this machine carve flat pieces of wood?
A: The CX-1200Y is specifically designed as a rotary machine for cylindrical objects. If your primary work is flat panel routing with occasional rotary work, we recommend our standard flatbed routers with a rotary attachment.
Q: Is water cooling better than air cooling for this machine?
A: For 3D rotary carving, which often requires the machine to run for many consecutive hours, water-cooled spindles are preferred because they dissipate heat more effectively and run much quieter than air-cooled spindles.
