Not every export project is complicated — but the ones that teach you the most are the ones where the client really knows what they want, and pushes you to deliver it exactly right. This Pakistan project was one of those.
The client needed a 3-meter-class sliding table panel saw capable of 45° bevel cuts, built for daily factory production, and shipped to a country where after-sales service from overseas suppliers is notoriously hard to come by. What followed was a project that tested our product knowledge, our customization capability, and our commitment to standing behind every machine we ship.
Here is the full story.
The client runs a panel furniture workshop in Pakistan producing custom cabinets, wardrobes, and interior doors. When they contacted us, they had already been using a basic table saw for years — and had hit a wall with it:
Chipping on melamine boards: Every cut left torn, splintered edges on the bottom face of their laminated panels. Clients were rejecting finished pieces, and sanding the edges manually was eating into margins.
No bevel cutting capability: Their existing machine was fixed at 90°. Any angled joint — cabinet door frames, chamfered edges, decorative trims — had to be done by hand or outsourced entirely.
Sliding table too short: Their current saw's sliding table couldn't handle full 2440mm × 1220mm sheet goods in a single pass, forcing operators to reposition panels mid-cut and introducing alignment errors.
Operator fatigue and inconsistency: Heavy panels were difficult to feed smoothly, and cut quality varied from operator to operator.
These are not unusual problems. In fact, they describe the production ceiling that most mid-sized Pakistani furniture workshops hit when they try to scale up quality without scaling up their equipment.
After a detailed consultation — during which we asked the client to share photos of their current setup, their most common panel sizes, and the types of cuts they needed most — we recommended the Superstar CX-MJ45 Wood Sliding Table Panel Saw. Here is why this model was the right fit.
The CX-MJ45 uses a two-saw architecture that most budget machines simply do not have:

This opened up an entirely new product category for the client: chamfered cabinet doors, mitered frames, and angled decorative panels — all producible in-house for the first time.
The 3200mm duralumin sliding table runs on double-thickened chrome round-bar rails, allowing even a fully loaded 4' × 8' sheet to be fed through in a single, smooth pass. The low-friction rail system means operators can push heavy MDF boards with one hand — reducing fatigue and improving cut consistency across shifts.
At 650kg, the CX-MJ45's heavy-duty steel frame absorbs vibration during high-speed cuts. The cast-iron trunnion housing the motor assembly is dynamically balanced, ensuring that cut quality does not degrade over time — even under continuous production loads.

We do not ship standard machines to non-standard situations. For this client, we made the following project-specific adjustments:
① Fence Scale in Metric + ImperialThe client's workshop uses both metric and imperial measurements depending on the project. We confirmed that the precision crosscut fence — fitted with a large-format aluminum ruler — carries dual metric/imperial graduation markings with flip-stops for rapid repeated cuts. No conversion charts, no measurement errors.
② Dust Extraction Port ConfirmationPakistan's workshop environments tend to accumulate sawdust quickly, which clogs rails and shortens machine life. We confirmed the machine's dual dust extraction ports (upper and lower) were correctly sized for the client's existing dust collector hose diameter, and included connection adapters in the shipment.
③ Voltage and Phase VerificationThe CX-MJ45 runs on 380V 3-phase power. Before confirming the order, we asked the client to verify their factory's power supply with their electrician. They confirmed 380V 3-phase availability — and we documented this in the order file to avoid any on-site surprises at installation.
④ Blade and Tooling PackageWe included a starter blade set — main saw blade and scoring blade — pre-matched to the client's primary cutting materials (melamine-faced particleboard and MDF). This meant the machine was ready to cut on day one, without the client needing to source compatible blades locally.
⑤ Export Packaging for Long-Haul FreightAt 650kg, this machine ships as heavy freight. We secured the sliding table carriage, wrapped the chrome rails in protective film, and bolted the machine to a reinforced timber export pallet. The outer crating was braced at all four corners with steel angle brackets, and the crate was clearly marked with weight, center of gravity, and lifting points.
Every CX-MJ45 goes through a structured pre-shipment inspection. For this order, the checklist included:
Geometric accuracy test: We verified that the sliding table runs perfectly parallel to the main saw blade across the full 3200mm travel — tolerance within 0.1mm
Bevel angle calibration: We tested blade tilt at 15°, 30°, and 45°, confirmed digital display accuracy, and documented the results
Scoring saw alignment: Confirmed that the scoring blade is precisely centered on the main blade kerf line
Motor run-in test: Both motors ran under load for 2 hours prior to packaging
Safety system check: Overload protection, emergency stop, and blade guard function all verified
The client received a video of the final test cuts — including a 45° bevel cut on a melamine board — before we began packaging. They approved the shipment the same day.

The remote commissioning session was the moment I always find most satisfying. We watched through the client's phone camera as the first full sheet of melamine board slid through the machine — clean, square, chip-free on both faces. The client held the cut edge up to the camera. No words needed.
