As we all know, woodworking engraving machines are often used to process relief effects, which are widely used in the field of 3D engraving, and the effect produced has a strong 3D three-dimensional sense and is more artistic.
Good engraving mainly comes from the design of the tool path and the skill of selecting the tool. When designing the tool path, choose to automatically generate an engraving program with varying depths, and use a sharp knife to complete it. However, sometimes the area between the two lines of the pattern is relatively large or The places with thicker strokes will not be able to be processed, and so-called "islands" will be produced, which requires an appropriate increase in the overlap rate when making paths.
For the "island" phenomenon in the production process, there are two main ways to deal with the wood CNC router engraving software: island processing and continuous engraving. The so-called island processing is to process some unprocessed areas mentioned above by bottom milling. When clearing and bottom milling, its "overlap percentage" should be defined.
The continuous engraving method refers to taking the above milled plane area as the initial plane and continuing to perform three-dimensional processing. In this way, the actual engraved depth may be greater than the designed depth, but it cannot exceed the height of the blade plus the handle. During processing, you can properly modify the pick-up distance. The pick-up distance is a three-dimensional corner-clearing processing parameter. When processing larger objects or using thicker tools, the pick angle distance can be increased accordingly. Normally, the default value of 0.1 mm is recommended. If the distance of the pick angle is too small, the number of pick angles may be too much, which will affect the actual processing effect of the woodworking engraving machine.

Regardless of whether the woodworking engraving machine performs 3D engraving or other engraving processes, it is necessary for the engraving machine operator to master as many relevant engraving processing skills as possible during use, so as to better play the performance of the woodworking engraving machine.
