Generally, each cutting machine has 5 or 6 pneumatic positioning cylinders, located in the Y-axis and X-axis directions of the cutter body, 3 or 4 in the Y-axis direction, and 2 in the X-axis direction. These pneumatics form an L-shaped right angle.

Why do you need to install the positioning cylinder in the cutting machine and ensure that the two directions need to be standard right angles?

The function of the positioning cylinder can be summarized as: positioning the plate to be processed, reducing the time for manual positioning of the plate, and improving the feeding efficiency.

Before the drilling machine starts to work, we all need to locate the workpiece origin of the sheet to be processed. If there is no positioning cylinder, in order to ensure the precision and accuracy of processing, we need to repeatedly adjust the positioning of each plate. After installing the positioning cylinder, we can ensure that each plate is placed in the same position, and there is no need to repeatedly define the origin of the workpiece, which is easy to operate and saves time.

In addition, when cutting board furniture, the three-in-one holes of some boards need to be punched on both sides of the board. Through the cooperation of the cutting software and the positioning cylinder, the positioning accuracy of the flap during processing is guaranteed.

The main point of CNC cutting machine is safety performance. The positioning of the cylinder is also controlled by the integrated program of the control system. It has an out-of-bounds protection. When the cylinder positioning shaft is extended, the machine automatically stops working to prevent the main shaft feeder from damaging the feeder cylinder or the cylinder shaft, which can limit unnecessary losses.
