Bangladesh's manufacturing sector is growing fast. Steel fabrication, structural metalwork, and sheet metal processing are booming — and factory owners there are increasingly looking beyond local suppliers to source equipment that can genuinely keep pace with their ambitions.
This project was one of those moments where everything aligned: a client who knew exactly what they needed to cut, a machine that was built precisely for that job, and a service commitment that addressed the one concern that almost stopped the deal from happening.
Here is how it unfolded.
The client operates a metal fabrication workshop in Bangladesh. Their production covers a wide range of sheet metal work — structural components, enclosures, brackets, and custom metalwork for local industry. When they reached out to us, they laid out their requirements with impressive clarity:
Materials they needed to cut:
Mild steel (carbon steel)
Stainless steel
Galvanized sheet
Cutting thickness required: Up to 10mm across all three materials
Working area required:3000mm × 1500mm — they were processing large-format sheets and needed a machine that could handle full sheet sizes without repositioning
Beyond the technical specs, two additional concerns shaped the entire conversation:
Air supply: The client had no existing compressed air infrastructure in their workshop. They needed a complete, ready-to-run solution — machine and air supply together.
After-sales support: This was, in their own words, their biggest worry. "We have seen other factories buy machines from China and then be completely on their own when something goes wrong." They needed a supplier who would still be there six months after delivery.
That last point — the after-sales concern — was the one we took most seriously. And it shaped every decision we made from that point forward.
Matching laser power to cutting requirements is not guesswork — it is engineering. For a client cutting 10mm mild steel, 10mm stainless steel, and galvanized sheet in daily production, the power selection had to be precise:
Too low (3KW): Cutting 10mm stainless steel at 3KW is possible but slow, with rougher edge quality and higher risk of incomplete cuts under continuous production loads
Too high (12KW+): Unnecessary for 10mm material — adds cost without adding value for this application
6KW: The engineering sweet spot for this material range — delivers clean, fast cuts on 10mm mild steel and stainless steel with excellent edge quality, while handling galvanized sheet efficiently without excessive heat input
We presented the client with a clear cutting capability comparison across power levels. The 6KW case was straightforward, and the client agreed immediately.
The E-3015 platform (3000mm × 1500mm working area) was a direct match to the client's sheet size requirements. Standard metal sheets in the Bangladesh market come in 3000mm × 1500mm format — with this machine, every sheet loads flat, cuts completely, and unloads without a single repositioning step. No alignment errors, no wasted time, no offcuts from unnecessary trimming.
The Superstar CX-E3015 is an industrial-grade fiber laser cutting machine built for continuous sheet metal fabrication:
Parameter | Specification |
Working Area | 3000mm × 1500mm |
Laser Power | 6KW |
Laser Source | Fiber laser (industrial grade) |
Compatible Materials | Mild steel, stainless steel, galvanized sheet, aluminum, brass, copper |

This is where many suppliers stop — they sell the laser and leave the client to figure out the rest. We do not work that way.
Fiber laser cutting requires a stable, clean, high-pressure air supply for two critical functions:
Assist gas delivery: Compressed air is used as the cutting assist gas for mild steel and galvanized sheet, blowing molten material out of the kerf and keeping the cut clean
Optical protection: A continuous air purge protects the laser cutting head's focusing lens from contamination — without it, lens damage is a matter of when, not if
For a 6KW machine cutting up to 10mm material, the air supply specification matters enormously. We recommended and supplied a 15KW / 16KG (16 bar) industrial air compressor — matched specifically to the E-3015's flow rate and pressure requirements.
Why this specification?
15KW motor: Delivers sufficient continuous flow volume for high-speed cutting without pressure drop during long cutting sequences
16 bar output pressure: Meets the cutting head's assist gas pressure requirements for clean piercing and cutting on thick mild steel and galvanized sheet
Integrated package: Compressor, air dryer, and filtration supplied together — the client received a complete, plug-and-cut solution with no sourcing gaps
By supplying the compressor as part of the package, we eliminated one of the most common causes of poor cutting performance in the field: undersized or poorly matched air supply.
When a client tells you that after-sales support is their biggest worry, the right response is not a vague promise. It is a specific, documented commitment. Here is exactly what we committed to — and delivered:
① Pre-Shipment Operation Video Library
Before the machine left our factory, we produced a comprehensive set of operation and maintenance videos covering:
Machine startup and shutdown sequence
Cutting parameter settings for mild steel, stainless steel, and galvanized sheet at various thicknesses
Cutting head focus adjustment and lens cleaning procedure
Air compressor startup, pressure setting, and daily maintenance
Common fault codes and first-response troubleshooting
These videos were delivered to the client digitally before shipment, so their team could begin familiarizing themselves with the machine before it even arrived.
② Remote Commissioning Support
Upon arrival, our engineer joined the client's team via video call for the full commissioning session — from machine leveling and optical alignment through to the first production cuts on all three materials. We did not sign off until the client had successfully cut 10mm mild steel, 10mm stainless steel, and galvanized sheet to their satisfaction.
③ On-Site Overseas Training — Available on Request
For clients who require hands-on training, we offer overseas engineer dispatch — our technician travels to the client's facility for on-site installation, calibration, and operator training. We made this option explicitly available to this client, with clear terms, so they knew it was a real option and not just a sales line.
④ Ongoing Technical Support
Post-commissioning, the client has direct access to our technical support team via WhatsApp. Cutting parameter optimization, consumable replacement guidance, software updates — we treat after-sales support as part of the product, not an afterthought.
Days 1–3 Needs assessment: materials, thicknesses, sheet sizes, air supply situation confirmed
Days 4–56KW E-3015 recommended; compressor package proposed; after-sales plan documented
Days 6–8 Contract signed; production and configuration scheduled
Days 9–30 Machine manufactured, calibrated, and performance-tested
Compressor sourced, tested, and matched to machine specs
Operation video library produced and delivered to client
Days 31–36 Full pre-shipment inspection completed; cutting test videos sent to client
Days 37–42 Machine and compressor packed and shipped as combined consignment
Full documentation dispatched: Commercial Invoice, Packing List,
Bill of Lading, QC Report, Operation Manual, Video Library
Days 43–52 Equipment arrived in Bangladesh; customs clearance completed
Days 53–55 Remote video commissioning: installation, alignment, gas setup,
first cuts on mild steel, stainless steel, and galvanized sheet
Day 56 Client in full production
The commissioning call ran for nearly three hours. By the end of it, the client's operator had successfully cut clean 10mm mild steel parts, and the client's manager — who had been on the call the entire time — said something I will not forget: "This is the first time a supplier has stayed with us until we actually made something."

If you are running a sheet metal fabrication workshop and considering your first — or next — fiber laser investment, here is what this Bangladesh project can teach you:
✅ Power selection is the most important decision you will makeBuying too little power means slow cuts, poor edge quality, and a machine that cannot keep up with your production. Buying too much means paying for capability you will never use. For 10mm mild steel and stainless steel in daily production, 6KW is the engineering answer — not 3KW, not 12KW. Tell us your materials and thicknesses, and we will show you the numbers.
✅ Your air supply is part of your laser systemA 6KW fiber laser with an undersized compressor will not perform like a 6KW fiber laser. Compressed air pressure, flow rate, and cleanliness directly affect cut quality, lens life, and machine reliability. If you do not have an existing air supply, tell us upfront — we will specify and supply the right compressor as part of your package.
✅ After-sales support should be a documented commitment, not a verbal promiseAsk any supplier you are evaluating: What exactly happens after the machine arrives? If the answer is vague, that is your answer. We provide pre-shipment operation videos, remote commissioning, overseas training dispatch, and ongoing WhatsApp technical support — all documented in writing before you sign anything.
✅ A 3000mm × 1500mm platform eliminates a hidden productivity costIf your machine's working area is smaller than your standard sheet size, you are paying for repositioning time, alignment errors, and offcut waste on every single sheet you process. Match your machine platform to your sheet size from day one.
✅ Galvanized sheet requires specific cutting parameters — get them right from the startGalvanized coatings produce zinc oxide fumes during laser cutting and require specific assist gas settings to achieve clean cuts without edge discoloration. We include material-specific parameter files for galvanized sheet in our commissioning package — so your operators are not experimenting on production material.
Bangladesh's metal fabrication industry is at an inflection point. Factories that invest in the right equipment now — matched to their actual materials, their actual sheet sizes, and their actual production volumes — will be the ones setting the quality and cost benchmarks for the next decade.
This client made that investment. They did not just buy a laser cutter. They bought a complete, engineered cutting system — with the power to handle their hardest materials, the air supply to run it properly, and the after-sales support to keep it running.
That is what we build. That is what we ship. And that is what we stand behind.
If your workshop is ready to move from plasma or manual cutting to precision fiber laser — or if you are upgrading from an underpowered machine that is holding your production back — let's have a real conversation about what you need.
